If you ever feel empty… give it time.
The mind will make up all kinds of stories about what that emptiness means, but give it time.
Does it really mean all those things? Or does it mean something else entirely? What waits for you in that "emptiness" anyway?
We run from "emptiness" like it's The Plague, and we don't even know what's there. We're afraid to look. We run screaming for the hills, without so much as a peek inside, and it's all because of our STORY about it.
What would happen if we turned to face that void? What might be seen if you dared stare the "empty" in the infinite eye?
If you are brave enough to look, fear will come up to guard it. That's fears job.
Fears job is to keep you APART. And doesn't it do it's job well? Oh so well.
Fear coils up like a black snake in your belly, and it hisses terrifying things about the empty, so you'll scurry away with your tail between your legs before you have a chance to find out.
But is fear a good source for information? Since when did we decide that fear has got it all figured out? Since when did we decide to rely on fear for the ultimate answers and truth?
How do you know it's not lying to keep you from the very gift you were born to receive???
You don't. and it is.
What happens when you meet this "emptiness" without fear's story about it? What is the truth that is hiding there?
You must find this out for yourself. No one can give it to you.
"Emptiness" is the point of convergence. Without the structure and seeming stability of the endless mental stories, there is a crumbling of the walls of separation, and a total and uncomplicated, MERGE with all of life.
What remains is love... wonder... and the sweetest curiosity.
Don't accept this. Look for yourself.
What do you find?
